Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 16

Today’s giving: Wrote a letter to a sick child on my lunch hour.

oregon postcardLunch hours are usually time to run errands,  grab a bite or take a break. Today I stumbled across a site which gives us another option.

It’s called Post Pals and it safely (no last names and only a forwarding address given) hooks up children in the U.K. with terminal conditions and people who just want to wish them well.

My hope is that an old-fashioned letter, post card and a couple dollars for a stamp brightened a sick child’s day.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
