Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 18

Today’s giving: Gave an opportunity for several Toastmasters to improve their evaluation skills.

listenerA few days ago I mentioned that I did some marketing for our Feedbackers Toastmasters club. Tonight, Feedbackers Toastmasters held its first meeting since then and 7 members of Toastmasters to which I talked directly visited the club. We also had a total of an additional 11 people visit our club tonight.

Personally, I was very excited by this as it gave a boost to our club.

But much more importantly, coupled with an excellent evaluation presentation by John Goalby who runs the website World Champion Evaluator, it opened the door for those seven Toastmasters to improve their listening and evaluation skills.

Listening is one of the keys to giving.
