Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 21

Today’s giving: Volunteered in two ways at a conference today.

toastmasters logoDuring an interactive workshop at today’s  Toastmasters District 7 Leadership Institute, I gave an evaluation as part of Feedbacker’s session.

Perhaps more interestingly, during the first session, we were broken into groups of eight to solve a case study and present our results to the audience. I volunteered to give our group’s presentation.

Conferences, especially those run by volunteers, are always looking for speakers. And presenters often are looking for audience participation.

If you are a member of a non-profit organization, consider speaking, or speaking up, at their next conference. You might be helping someone more than you realize.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
