Today’s giving: Numerous telephone calls to help someone in need.

It’s hard to write about, but today my mother fell and hurt herself quite badly. She’s in the hospital and scheduled for surgery. I live far away, so all I could do was call people and try to make sure that she gets the care she needs until I can go back.

Sometimes, we can’t give all that we want.
