Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 28

Today’s giving: Made a cheesecake from scratch and will take it to friends’ house for dessert tonight.

(Obviously, not my cheesecake)

First, thank you to our friends for inviting us over for dinner!

Second, an observation about the habit of giving.

This will be the third or fourth time that I’ve baked or made dinner since I started this challenge. That’s not a lot, but if I’m honest with myself, I have to admit that its more than before. There are certain logistical reasons; being home last, desire to eat earlier, etc. But the desire and challenge to give more opened my eyes to a need that has always been there. The test for me will be to … keep cooking.

So far, so good.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
