Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 34

Today’s giving: Took some time and gave a call to an old friend.

clockWant to know where your time goes?

Look at your habits. Look at your routines. Look in the nooks and crannies of your day.

After your favorite t.v. show is over, do you watch 15 minutes of the next show? Do you spend an hour on bills per week, or can it be a half-hour? Once you’ve checked Facebook, do you play 20 minutes of Farmville? Can you make one trip to the store each week instead of two? Can you take a short lunch so you can leave early?  Can you do your morning Suduko puzzle every other day? Can you get up 15 minutes earlier everyday? Can you volunteer in your child’s classroom over lunch?

There *is* free time. There *is* time to give. It’s just hiding.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
