Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 43

Today’s giving: Hosting a DI meeting for the middle schoolers this afternoon. Last night, chaperoned a middle school fundraising dance. bored jester in empty stadium

Going to watch the Super Bowl today?

Ok, sure. I’ve watched many Super Bowl’s, so I understand. Enjoy the game, enjoy the company of your friends.

But if you’d rather give your time instead, consider taking your kids and their friends to a museum.

Today, and the first, full weekend of every month, Bank of America customers can get in free to museums throughout the country*. Here in the Portland, Oregon metro region you can visit – Lan Su Chinese Garden, Pittock Museum, and Portland Art Museum free.

Even if you can’t get in free, taking your kids to a museum is a super way to spend an afternoon.

*Thanks to the Around the Sun blog for the tip! It lists free weekend events for the Portland Metro region.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
