Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 86 – Everyone Deserves A Treat

Bought some chocolates and gave them to a homeless person.

Chocolate

A few days ago, I re-posted some tips for giving to the homeless. I was happy I had read them, because being here in San Francisco gives me the opportunity to meet a few more homeless people than at home. Prior to reading that article by the Portland Rescue Mission, I would have probably dropped some money in their cups.

Instead tonight, I gave one of the homeless ladies a pack of Ghiradelli chocolates. She smiled and said thanks.

And that’s thanks enough for me.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
