Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 97 – The Conversation Of Giving

Wrote a thank you note for the teacher’s aide who helped me with the fourth grade engineering project.

Pissarro Conversation paintingI had two separate conversations today with a couple of friends. In different ways, but in both cases, the conversation came around to values, giving and volunteering.

It was a lot of fun to talk about the nuances of volunteering, and it surprises me that we don’t talk about it more. I’m not sure why that is.

Maybe if we talked about and listened to stories of giving our time more, we’d be more inclined to volunteer.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
