Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 109 – Initiating Contact (A Follow Up)

Sought out input from a member of my Toastmasters club. Got some good feedback and hopefully gave some quality input to her.

People together

The other day, I wrote about initiating contact with your constituents. Today I did exactly that for our Toastmasters club. I wanted to know if there was anything that the club or I could do to help a member better her experience. We talked for about 1/2 hour about various things.

In the end, I hope that she has some new ideas about what is possible in Toastmasters. And, as expected, I too learned some things.

The next step is take our discussion and try to turn it into an improvement in the club.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
