Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 113 – Change Your Environment And It All Changes

Spent the day making DI awards for my son’s team. In a program as creative as Destination Imagination it behooves me to make creative awards for our end of year party tomorrow!

Before everyone got up today, I visited New Horizons Toastmasters club in Tualatin, OR that meets once a month on Saturday at 7:20 a.m. It was an enjoyable experience and I got a chance to speak in a new venue – a restaurant. I was surprised at how much I learned just changing the speaking environment.

It seems to me that this might apply to giving as well. If you give your time as you always have, changing it up might change how you see your work. And it might help you see how you can do it better.

External changes mean internal changes.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
