Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 117 – Micro Volunteering

Did a short audit of the website kidneysocal.org to help them find better ways to serve people who have accessibility challenges to web pages. sparked.org logo

Thanks to a heads-up from a post on  Year Of Giving, I found sparked.com  today. It’s a clever idea to create volunteer opportunities that are only online and can be combined into something larger. Signup is easy and I was able to take up a short challenge in under 15 minutes.

If you don’t have time to volunteer today, you might try micro volunteering.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!

Thanks Reed. I have been following your efforts since I found your blog recently. I really find the stories compelling. I also admire your courage to extend a hand to strangers and listen to their stories. Listening is a wonderful skill to develop. I’ll be reading!
