Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 155 – Enchanted Time

Taking my son on our annual birthday trip. We stopped at the Enchanted Forest on the way to Bend, Oregon.

Enchanted Forest

The Enchanted Forest is a small amusement park near Salem, Oregon. But’s it is quite unlike any other amusement park to which I have been. It’s smaller, built in a forest, less focused on rides, and more focused on something unique.

And, it was the vision of one man, Roger Tofte, back in the early 70’s, who wanted more fun things for his kids to do. Here’s the history.

Kudos to Mr. Tofte for an inspired vision, a unique idea, and dedication to giving something to the children of western Oregon.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!

  1. Talk about believing in your own dream despite the odds! What an inspiring story.

Yes indeed. The park is quite well done. He and his family have certainly put their all into it. My son and I were quite impressed.
