Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 157 – Respecting Their Memory

On the last day of our annual father/son birthday trip, my son and I took extra time searching out the perfect souvenir for my daughters.

Today, Memorial Day, is a day of remembrance. A remembrance of the soldiers and their families who have given the ultimate gift.

I would respectfully add this one thought in memory of all the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, in our armed forces.

It is my solemn belief that the best way we can respect their memory is to give more than we think we can to strengthen our communities, serve the less fortunate, and respect our fellow citizens.

In our small sacrifice we make their sacrifice more meaningful.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
