Updated my daughters’ school’s Parent Teacher Club’s website. I have been maintaining that since I built it several years ago. As my daughter’s leave elementary school, I will be transitioning it away. Also thanked many teachers at the school’s open house who will be retiring this year. They will be missed.
Actively seeking out and acting upon feedback is one of the great secrets to success.
Today, I was reminded of that by the president of the company for which I work (a billion dollar company). I was quite astonished to hear him talk about the feedback that he was given to his job performance. He was candid and frank and talked openly about his plan to improve the areas where his performance could improve.
That gave me pause to think about this website. I had never thought about asking for feedback about my blog before. But it is like anything else, your feedback will make it better.
So I ask you,
- How am I doing?
- Is this blog interesting?
- Am I talking about topics that appeal to you?
- Are there ways you think I might be better giving my time?
You can email me with the link at the right.
Or, you can friend me on Facebook (ewinger1) and give me your input.
Or, if you’d like, just add a comment and let me know how I’m doing.
I sincerely would like to know what interests you with respect to volunteering and giving one’s time.
My most honest thanks.
