Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 161 – Another Reason To Shut Off The TV

Volunteered over my lunch hour to help the students out at my daughters’ school during culture week. Also my family attended the opening night of my son’s play tonight.

We all know the reasons to shut off the t.v. Let me add another, a personal story.

As I sit down to write this post, the kids have the t.v on in the room. No matter what’s on, it’s distracting. I find it quite difficult to focus, think or create. And I’ve given an hour of my time to write this post.

Your time is yours. Who are you giving it to? Your family, your friends?

Or your t.v.?

(Oh by the way. After I left the room with the t.v. on, I finished the post in five minutes.)

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
