Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 227 – Cleaning House

Cleaned the house tonight.

What happened while I was writing this post on cleaning. Really.

“I wonder why it is so interesting to do things, but so boring to clean them up.” — Zachary, my son.

Agreed. But sometimes it is necessary.

I think the key to cleaning is to not let it become a great accomplishment. Clean, organize, mow, water, dust, mop, vacuum, paint, repair and tidy when necessary, but keep in mind that unless company is coming, you are only really doing it for your own satisfaction and productivity.

Not a staged photograph.

What you do with your time *after* you clean is what is important.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
