Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 337 – You Wouldn’t Leave Garbage On Your Front Lawn

“There aren’t many things that are universally cool, and it’s cool not to litter. I’d never do it. ”

— Matthew McConaughey

If I see a McDonald’s wrapper lying on the ground in our yard I’ll most likely pick it up, but if it’s on the street in the town where we’re vacationing, chances are I won’t.

Litter

Tourists are notorious for leaving a mess. Locals complain about the trash left behind. It really doesn’t need to be that way.

If the town cares enough to let us visit, then perhaps we can care enough to help them keep it clean. Bring a pair of gloves along on trips and pick up some litter.

Trash is trash whether it’s ours or theirs.

Picked up some trash in the town we’re visiting.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
