I tried a new recipe for baked beans tonight. Brown sugar, beans, Worcestershire sauce, dried mustard, onion, bacon, molasses, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar.
It was … fantastic!

My wife Melissa’s gift of time today … Worked with our daughter, Tessa, and transformed her old beat up french horn case into the best duct tape snail in the Pacific Northwest!
The interesting thing is that the ingredients were already in our cupboard, just waiting to be used.
It seems to me that we already have the ingredients for happiness in life. Family, friends, giving time, generosity, love, exercise, sleep, patience, acceptance, positivity, helpfulness, kindness, etc.
All it takes is a willingness to get them out of the cupboard and use them.
You don’t even need a recipe.
Today’s gift of time … Barbecued some pretty darn good beans and chicken tonight. I think it made quite a few people happy. (Take a look at the cool duct tape snail case my wife Melissa and daughter Tessa made today!)
