Supporting One Another

“Help one another; there’s no time like the present and no present like the time.”

— James Durst

Supporting each other can be as simple as listening, sharing a status update, or supporting another person’s humanitarian cause.

Wendi, our neighbor, friend, and blogger is running to support a cause she has been working toward – clean water in Ghana. Chipping in to help her reach her goal was a small way that we could support her efforts to make the planet a little better. Sharing her status also helps get the word out.

The next time you see a Facebook message from a friend needing support for a cause they believe in, don’t hesitate. Even if money’s tight and a donation is not possible, you can still share their status with your friends.

When we support each other, we support ourselves.

Yesterday’s gift of time … Supported another’s cause and shared a few Facebook statuses to help people get the word out about their volunteering efforts.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
