Little Margin For Error

“Seldom do people discern
Eloquence under a threadbare cloak.”

— Juvenal

I received this fundraising request from the Tigard Good Neighbor Center the other day. It is a stark reminder that something simple like a day off of work isn’t so simple when you’re trying to lift yourself out of poverty. There is little margin for error.

I would encourage you to read it, and if you are so inclined help them out. Or, help an organization aiding people on the edge in your community.

Yesterday’s gift of time … Made a small donation to the Good Neighbor Center, and wrote them a note commending them on the story they told.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
