Man should not consider his material possession his own, but as common to all, so as to share them without hesitation when others are in need.

~St. Thomas Aquinas

The last time someone asked you for help, did you hesitate?

If you hesitated, ask yourself why.

You might be surprised at what the answer is.

And if you didn’t hesitate, but didn’t help, ask yourself why.

You might be again surprised.

Yesterday’s gift of time … My children’s friend didn’t make it to school. His dad, who must work early in the morning, called to ask if his son had made it. When we found out he didn’t, and since his dad was across town at work, I went and got his son and took him to school … Only later did I realize that I didn’t hesitate to help.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
