Showing Up Today

“We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today.”

— Stacia Tauscher

It’s easy for parents to drop their kids off at practice, then run some errands or get some other important work done.

Even if you put your feet up, you are still showing up.
Yes, those are my big feet.

But for my money, I’ll show up to my kids’ practice whenever I can.

Why bother?

Because although I may not be able to be there for them tomorrow, I can show up today.

Yesterday’s gift of time … Showed up at my daughters’ volleyball practice.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
