Sandy Says

“It’s better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret.”

— Jackie Joyner Kersee

It is my fervent wish that everyone in the northeast hunker down and stay safe for the next few days.

Hurricane Sandy

It is also my fervent wish that everyone else not affected by the storm use this time to get their three day emergency kits assembled or reviewed.

Sandy is telling us something. Give a little time to your family to be ready for a natural disaster when, not if, it comes.

Sandy says. Be prepared.

Yesterday’s gift of time … Volunteer line judge again at my daughters’ volleyball game … Also stopped at the store and grabbed a few D batteries for our emergency flashlights.

My best wishes to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!

Timely reminder, Eric…how strangely beautiful the hurricane looks from space.

Yes, almost peaceful. … Given the level of devastation that’s coming, at least we can take small solace that the disaster was predicted and people had a chance to prepare.

      Take care,

      Eric
