“For every homeless person, there are so many worried and sad family members…concerned about the health and safety of those loved ones.”
— a friend
Like a friend wrote, a homeless person isn’t just one person.
Behind them is a mom, a dad, maybe a sister, a brother, probably a friend, possibly a grandparent, worried about them, wondering, and concerned.
No man is an island. Every man, woman, and child has a story. And people who care about them.
The person you see on the side of the road, or under a bridge, or sleeping in a park – they have a story.
They are not just a vagrant, a tramp, a squatter, or a beggar. They are not just he or she.
They are … they.
Yesterday’s gift of time … Took the time to make a small donation to Soles4Souls. Shoes for someone, and their family.
