Speaking of Speaking

“Every survival kit should include a sense of humor.”

In November, I won the Toastmasters District 7 Humorous Speech Competition. The other day, I finally received the video which I’m pleased to share.

If you would like me to speak at your event, or organization, about the power and magic of giving time, leadership, volunteering, communication, or other topics, please contact me.

Who knows, it might even be funny. 🙂

Yesterday’s gift of time … My wife and I attended our daughter Hayle’s Science Fair competition. Always so proud of her for giving it her best.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!

  1. Hilarious… do you perform stand up comedy on weekends?….out of the house…in clubs????? I just passed this along to #1 Dad in our household, off at work now, as #1 Dads tend to do! 😀

Thanks, Kathy. No – no improv on Saturday nights for me. Just thought I’d give the contest a shot this year and it worked out.

Lots of fun to write that speech!

As the #1 (and only) Dad in our household, I thought your performance was great! One was challenge enough. I can’t imagine handling double trouble alone! Keep up the good work.
