“I don’t care how poor a man is; if he has family, he’s rich.”

–Dan Wilcox and Thad Mumford, “Identity Crisis,” M*A*S*H

You can do your best.

winger tree hugYou can try to be the best.

You can best an opponent.

And if you were with us and 900 other people in Hoyt Arboretum in Portland on Saturday, you could have helped our family try to best the Guinness World record for largest tree hug.

If Guinness validates the results we shall have bested all the others who came before us. But, frankly, I’m not that concerned with world records.

I just like being with my family the best.

Saturday’s gift of time … Family time, fun time, trying to break a world’s record.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
