One More Cup

“Do not take anything for granted — not one smile or one person or one rainbow or one breath, or one night in your cozy bed.”

Closing up an early morning breakfast meeting, and after goodbyes had been exchanged, I tried to take one more sip of coffee from my paper cup. Unfortunately, it was empty.

No matter, I thought, “I’ll just get another cup at the office.”

Then as I started to push the door open to leave, I stopped and said to myself, “Not everyone can say that.”

We take a lot for granted in our lives. Especially the little things.

Like a cup of coffee.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
