Post-Christmas Resolution, Day 196 – Moving Our Giving Forward

Took my daughter to work with me on the last day in our old office.

The movers are moving our office to a new location this weekend. Which means for the past few weeks I have been packing up all the things that have accumulated in my cubicle for the past seven years. Some stuff gets moved, some gets thrown out.

Physical moving is an opportunity for renewal. It is an opportunity to eliminate ineffective habits and an opportunity to keep effective habits. It is an opportunity to see things in a new light.

Moving our giving forward is also an opportunity for renewal. It is an opportunity to eliminate ineffective giving and an opportunity to keep effective giving. It is an opportunity to see how we give in a new light.

The nice thing is that moving our giving forward does not need a moving truck.

It can happen right now.

** Note – I’ll be off the grid for a couple days. I’ll be giving my time and the posts will be posted by Monday.

About Eric Winger

Our perception of time is key to how we use our time. The most fundamental way to change that perception is to give our time. This opens us up to new opportunities and ideas from which we can build to really make a difference. ... Yes, we *do* have time to make a difference!
